Rhythm & Hues Studios are an Academy Award winning visual effects studio, founded in 1987 by three employees of Robert Abel and Associates . The company is located in Los Angeles, California and is perhaps best known for talking animals, in particular the movie Babe.
Other talking animals have recently included the movie versions of Garfield and Scooby Doo, as well as Cats and Dogs. Other recent work includes The Sum of All Fears, Elektra, The Chronicles of Riddick and many more.
Rhythm & Hues has also animated many popular commercial campaigns, including the Coca-Cola Polar Bears and GEICO's Gecko.
As of 2005, large projects in production include The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, Serenity, The Longest Yard, and The Interpreter.
